State Police say a Texas truck driver damaged a railroad crossing and fled the scene.
The incident happened July 17th at the Fostoria Crossing in Antis Township. Troopers say Jorge Gonzalez of Cortulla struck the crossing gate at Norfolk Southern’s Fostoria intersection – damaging a control arm. Gonzalez was attempting to bypass a bridge construction project on Old Route 220.
He fled the scene and was apprehended by an off-duty Bellwood Police officer. Troopers say Gonzalez put the public at risk for not reporting the accident. Damage to the crossing is estimated at $8,000.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
