The Bellwood Council of Churches is responding to the American Red Cross’s current urgent need for blood and will host a Bloodmobile on Wednesday. The event goes from Noon to 6:00PM and will be hosted in the Parish Hall at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church on East 3rd Street.
The American Red Cross is urging anyone in the Bellwood and Tyrone areas to participate if possible. A spokesperson tells WRTA News the organization is still in need of all types of blood to help replenish the region’s supply.
