Penn State is no longer in the top 10 when it comes to the top partying schools.
The Princeton Review’s annual party school ranking list out Tuesday puts the university at No. 11. That’s a four slot fall from the schools No. 7 position in 2011. Penn State was rated the top party school in 2009.
West Virginia University earned the No. 1 spot this year. The data is gathered from a survey of 122,000 students which rate schools on 62 topics covering everything from academics to quality of life to social scenes.
Penn State did rank No. 1 in one area – the magazine says it has the best student newspaper.
