A city man is behind bars today after his arrest Wednesday night in connection with a burglary.
Altoona Police tell WRTA News that acting on a report they received around 5pm yesterday they obtained a warrant and subsequently located 23 year old David Freet a little before midnight. They stopped his vehicle at Lloyd Street and 3rd Avenue and took him into custody.
Freet was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
He was placed in Blair County Prison and faces burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, and the drug charges.
