Environmentalists have made some waves for Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett as he sets out on a two-day kayak tour of the upper Delaware River.
Activists opposed to gas drilling used signs and boats to confront the governor as he paddled from Darbytown on Thursday.
Corbett plans to travel through Wayne, Pike and Monroe counties to promote the state's natural resources and learn about the waterway. Protesters say Corbett's support for gas drilling endangers the river's ecosystem and the drinking water supply for millions of residents.
In July, Corbett and his wife took a three-day kayak tour of the Allegheny River in Forest and Warren counties to promote the state’s natural parks and other outdoor recreation spots.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
