It’s a return to classes to today for Altoona Area students.
 
While other local districts got off to an earlier start on the new school year, District Community Relations Director Paula Foreman tells WRTA News that Altoona  students had a chance to take in a little more summer vacation before hitting the books once again.
 

 
All other Blair County Schools got under way last week.
 
Drivers are reminded to be on the lookout for students walking to school and for school bus activity now that classes for all area schools have begun.
