Campaigns to Represent 79th District Begin In Earnest
With the Labor Day weekend in our rearview mirror, serious campaigning has begun for the race for the next State Representative for the 79 District.
On Tuesday night, supporters for Republican candidate John McGinnis filled a meeting room at the Bavarian Hall in Altoona and heard endorsements from people such as Blair County Commissioners Diane Meling and Terry Tommassetti, Representatives of Citizens Alliance of Pennsylvania, and Republican Party officials.
On Wednesday, McGinnis was a guest on Dave Barger’s show on WRTA. Barger asked the candidate, if elected, what issue would be at the top of his list.
McGinnis and his opponent Richard Flarend will face off in at last two debates before the November election. The first one is scheduled for September 13 at the Devoris Center in downtown Altoona.

I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
