City fire inspector Mike Tofano says the fire early Wednesday morning at 870 31st Street, as well as the Sunday night fire on 18th Street, were both deliberately set.
Fire officials say at this time there seems to be no connection between the two fires.
No one was hurt in any of the recent fires in Altoona.
