City Police Investigate Shots Fired Incident.



An investigation is underway in Altoona concerning a shots fired incident over the weekend.

According to police, it happened on the 1000 block of 2nd Avenue Saturday evening.

Casings from a semi-automatic handgun were found and the gun was located on the 1000 block of 3rd Avenue.

There is a suspect claiming he discharged the weapon in an effort to break up a street fight.
At this point no charges have been filed.
