BG Grad Nominated to Probation, Parole Board Position
Governor Tom Corbett has nominated a man with local ties to serve as a member of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.
53 year old Randy Feathers, regional director with the Attorney General's Office's Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, now awaits the confirmation process by the State Senate.
Feathers, a Bishop Guilfoyle graduate and a former Altoona police officer, could be confirmed by the end of October.
Due to board rules, Feathers would have to give up his current position if he makes it through the confirmation process. He has been with the Attorney General's Office for 24 years, serving as regional director of the State College office for the last seven years.
