Spring Cove Teachers say No to Contract

It’s back to the negotiation table for both sides in contract talks involving teachers in the Spring Cove School District.

Last night the teachers' union voted down a proposed three-year contract.

The district's proposal reportedly included a one-year pay freeze and a higher health insurance deductible.

Negotiators say they are surprised the union members turned down the offer.

High-deductible health care appears to be one of the issues that scuttled the deal.
