The state senate Local Government Committee, chaired by Sen. John Eichelberger, has rescheduled a hearing on Harrisburg's financial woes.
Anticipated to be two days long, the hearing is to start October 4.
Lee Derr, the panel's executive director, said the committee plans to talk initially with the team that wrote the Harrisburg Authority's Forensic Audit, which looked into the circumstances of the city's incinerator retrofit.
The retrofit went awry and ultimately racked up more than $320 million in debt.
Derr said the panel would also seek testimony from city, county and other officials involved in the deal. A second day of testimony, as-yet unscheduled, would focus on the city's advisers and contractors, he said.

I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
