Sewage Filled Basement Forces Altoona Family Out Of Home

A home in Altoona where authorities found at least a foot of sewage in the basement has been condemned and the family living there has been removed.

An animal officer found the mess when he returned three runaway dogs to the 1429 22nd Avenue home.

Among the people living in the house under those conditions was an 8-month old baby.

Because of health concerns police acted quickly in getting everyon out of the home.
