Penn State Officials are offering a vaccination clinic on Monday.
 
The clinic is being held in response to two confirmed cases and several suspected cases of the whooping cough.
 
According to the State Health Department about three times as many whooping cough cases have been reported this year as compared to last year.
 
Health experts say immunity from the illness begins to wane in college aged students.
 
Children are often vaccinated against the ailment as infants, receive booster shots before beginning school and receive boosters again at the age of eleven or twelve.
