Sobriety Check Point Results



The D.U.I. Task Force conducted a Sobriety Checkpoint Friday night in Altoona.
 
The event took place at 7th Avenue & 15th Street.
 
As a result, 307 motorists were stopped for traffic or equipment violations; 9 motorists were arrested for Impaired Driving; 1 motorist was arrested for Attempting to Flee and Elude Police; 3 Minors were arrested for Underage Drinking; 36 Citations and Warnings were issued for such things as, Driving Under Suspension, Expired Driver’s License, Expired Registration, and Equipment Violations.
