An investigation is underway into a corpse being found in a Freedom Township home over the weekend.
 
Township police, acting on a call they received about the body, found the corpse at 2100 Everett Road.
 
Not many details have been released at this point but the state of the body was such that authorities were not able to identify it immediately as a male or female.
 
The Blair County Coroner’s office now has custody of the body as the investigation continues.
