According to courtroom rules set forth by Centre County Court Judge John Cleland, the first 85 members of the general public will be allowed in the courtroom.
Also, no cell phones, laptops, or other electronic devices will be allowed in the courtroom.
The hearing is to begin at 9 o’clock and the general public is to be allowed in the courtroom at 8:15.
The sentencing is to begin with Judge Cleland determining whether the 68-year-old qualifies as a sexually violent predator.
The former Penn State assistant football coach was convicted in June on 45 counts of molesting 10 boys over a 15-year period of time.
Defense attorneys have not yet definitively said if Sandusky will make a statement during the hearing but have noted that they plan to appeal the convictions.
