Sandusky Upset Over "False Allegations" In Statement From Prison

Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is upset over "false allegations" regarding his conviction on child sex abuse charges.

In a three-minute statement that aired on Penn State's student-run radio station Monday evening, Sandusky continued to maintain his innocence.

In his statement from prison, Sandusky seems to blame his conviction on a "young man who is dramatic and a veteran accuser and always sought attention." He says "they can treat me like a monster, but they can't take away my heart."

The 68-year-old Sandusky is expected to receive a prison term of what amounts to life behind bars when he is sentenced today on 45 counts of child sex abuse.
