The Chief Executive Officer of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is stepping down.

Officials say Roger Nutt cited health reasons as cause for his resignation.

The current Chief Operating Officer, Craig Shuey, has been tapped to serve as acting CEO until a permanent replacement is named.
