Crews respond to 2nd Avenue Fire

Fire crews were called out early this morning in Altoona.

Altoona Fire Chief Tim Hileman tells WRTA News that the call came in at 4:40 this morning reporting flames visible out the back of home at 909 2nd Avenue.

Hileman says the fire could have been much worse.

The fire will be investigated but at this point it looks like it was accidental and caused by an electrical malfunction.
