Commissioner Terry Tomassetti says the board received approval of the draft listing agreement this week between the county’s attorney and the broker, Marcus and Millchap.
Tomassetti says commissioners want to make sure that there is continued care for residents of the home.
Tomassetti says Valley View is “not a mandated service” and his concern is that in the future the home would become a long term liability to taxpayers and the county would not be able to keep the facility a float.
