The Blair Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate debate this morning at the Blair County Convention Center.
 
The primary focus of the debate between Dr. John McGinnis, Republican nominee for state representative in the 79th district, and his opponent, Democrat Richard Flarend will be economic issues facing the local economy and that of the Commonwealth.
 
The 10 AM event is free of charge and open to the public.
