A routine traffic stop in Altoona overnight resulted in charges being filed against three people.
 
A little before 1AM police pulled over a vehicle driven by 33 year old Thomas Speed of Johnstown on the 1600 block of Sharp Avenue.
 
When all was said and done, Speed was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and he had a warrant out for him out of Fayette County. A passenger in the vehicle, 23 year old Kandice Loner Altoona was charged with illegal possession of pills and another passenger, 35 year old Kenneth Straight of Altoona was found to be in possession of a taser which is aganst the law because he’s a felon.
