City Man Charged Following Break-In In Altoona



A city man is facing charges after he allegedly broke into a home in Altoona late last night.
 
Police tell WRTA News that they got a call around 11pm concerning a man forcing his way into a home on the 300 block of 12th Street.  When officers arrived the suspect had fled the scene on foot after shoving the homeowner and hitting her with a door while getting into the home. 
 
After a description was given to police, they located 19 year old Peter Baker and took him into custody.
 
Baker has been charged with Felony Criminal Trespass, Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief, and Harassment.
