Charges have been filed against a city woman who police say left her 4-year-old daughter unattended last week at local playground.
31 year old Christina Orr, of 1421 East 3rd Avenue is accused of driving away and leaving the child alone at the Cherry Grove apartment complex playground on East Walton Avenue on Monday October 15.Witnesses say the child became hysterical and ran across the street saying she didn’t know where her mother was. Orr came back almost a half hour later.
Orr is charged with misdemeanor child endangerment and traffic violations related the
fact that she had driven away with the girl not secured in a safety seat. Orr also had a suspended license.
