Pennsylvania and Alaska have come in tied for the second worst state for retirees in list compiled by MoneyRates.com.
The idea behind the list was to identify the states that may have the most significant issues on quantifiable measures.
This year's analysis was based on senior population growth, economic conditions, crime rate, climate, and life expectancy.
Pennsylvania has seen one of the slowest growth rates of its senior population in the country. Poor scores on life expectancy and economic factors also dragged the state down, and it didn't have a stellar performance in any category to offset its drawbacks.
