Students Aim to Assist Recovering Cheerleader

A Penn State Cheerleader is continuing to show signs of improvement following a recent 40-foot fall.

19 year old Paige Raque fell from a fifth floor apartment window at Calder Commons on October 14th. She was placed in a medically induced coma but is reportedly showing signs of progress.

Members of the university’s cheer squad are helping to raise money to assist with medical bills and other costs for Raque and her family by selling bracelets at the HUB-Robeson Center on Penn State’s University Park Campus from 10 am to 3 pm today.

The bracelets read “pray for Paige” and are being sold for $5 with all proceeds benefitting the Paige Raque Recovery Fund.
