Overnight storm damage in Altoona included toppled trees, power outages, and buildings falling apart.
At least two structures were damaged enough to cause road closings and detours. Police tell WRTA News that in the Juniata section of the city there were issues with the Park Furniture building at North 4th Avenue and North 6th Street. The other structure was an apartment building on the 500 block of Union Avenue where bricks had started to fall off the building.
Intermittent losses power outages have also been hitting various areas of the city during the storm, some interruptions lasting only minutes while others have left sections of the city without power for hours.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
