Rothfus Defeats Critz in Re-Drawn PA 12th

Republican challenger Keith Rothfus unseated Congressman Mark Critz in Pennsylvania's 12th Congressional District in Tuesday's election.

The district was redrawn earlier this year during Republican-controlled redistricting. The defeat was a first for Critz, a Democrat who replaced John Murtha, who died in office in February 2010.

Rothfus, a corporate attorney, says he’s ready to get to work this January.

This is Rothfus’s first win in a general election. He lost to former Congressman Jason Altmire in 2010. Altmire was defeated in this year’s Democratic primary by Critz.

I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation). Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
