The case against one of the two men arrested for the October 27th break-ins at a pair of pharmacies in Altoona is headed to trial.
A preliminary hearing was held Wednesday for 33 year old Joseph Weakland, of 4121 Lyndale Road. A city detective testified during yesterday’s proceeding that after pulling Weakland over following one of the inceidents, police found a bottle of acetaminophen with codeine in the vehicle as well as other items linking Weakland to the crimes.
The two pharmacies broken into were Dick’s Pharamcy at 401 maple Avenue and The Medicine Shoppe at 2411 8th Avenue.
Weakland, who allegedly drove 30 year old Matthew Mickey to the crime scenes, is facing conspiracy to commit burglary and other related charges.
I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation).
Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
