According to the school’s website, the price tag for legal fees, consultants and other costs related to the fallout from the Jerry Sandusky child sexual abuse scandal has topped $20.9 million as of the end of August.
On a similar note, a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for next month for three former Penn State administrators accused of covering up sexual abuse allegations against Sandusky.
According to the Dauphin County Court Administrator’s office a December 13th hearing has been set for former athletic director Tim Curley, retired senior vice president Gary Schultz and former president Graham Spanier.
All are charged with perjury, endangering welfare of children, obstructing administration of law, failure to report, and criminal conspiracy.
Officials say the hearing will continue on December 14thif necessary.
