An Altoona man arrested over the weekend is facing a laundry list of charges stemming from a burglary incident in the city.
Police say that 29 year old Christopher Kenneth Anderson, of 2813 Spruce Avenue, used a stole credit card at a local convenience store Sunday. Surveillance footage was used to identify Anderson who admitted to police that he committed the burglary of the residence on the 1200 block of Walton Avenue.
Anderson is charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Access Device Fraud, and Identity Theft.
Police say they have uncovered many items believed to have been stolen over the past few months including tools, a small welder, a pressure washer and electronics. City residents are urged to check their homes, garages, vehicles and sheds for signs of a break-in. Police say that anyone who thinks they have been a victim of a burglary and wants to see if their items are among those confiscated should call the Altoona police department at 949-2489.
