The cost of balancing the budget however isn’t sitting well with some city leaders. One major sticking point for Mayor Bill Schirf is the ACT 47 Plan’s recommendation concerning the city fire department taking over the services now provided by AMED.
Councilman Marc Geis says that they have no choice but to explore all options.
The final vote on the plan will come December 19th
