On a night when council members were previewing the budget for the upcoming year there was a certain degree of angst displayed concerning some of the recommendations the ACT 47 Plan coordinators have suggested.
That was City Manager Joe Weakland who says Capital Budget items, anything under $50,000 is one particular point of concern.
The ACT47 coordinators wanted to hear back from the city by today but councilman Mark Geis made it clear he didn’t think council should rush through the matter.
And that’s what they do as City council recessed last night’s meeting and after studying the recommendations over the holiday weekend will pick it back up on Monday night at 7:00.
