The meeting was a reconvening of last Tuesday’s meeting that was recessed so that council had a chance to review the 27 pages of recommendations and the comments concerning those ideas made by city staff.
A recurring theme over the past several months came up again last night as City Manager Joe Weakland spoke of how the ACT 47 coordinating team’s exclusion of city staff from the process has resulted in faulty conclusions by the consultant.
Weakland was also critical of recommendations put in the plan that have already been addressed by the city.
The comments approved last night by council will be emailed to the consultant today and be presented formally at Wednesday’s public hearing.
