Two men are facing gun charges following an incident last night in Altoona.
 
City police say that with the assistance of a confidential informant, an undercover officer bought a .22 caliber revolver from William Benjamin Bush. Bush was also found to be in possession of a small amount of pot.
 
It turns out Bush is a Felon prohibited from possessing a firearm and also didn’t have a permit to carry the gun.
 
Further investigation into the gun sale showed that Bush purchased the revolver from Stanley Charles Nail earlier in the day.
 
Nail admitted to selling the revolver to Bush and was subsequently arrested.
 
Nail is also a convicted felon prohibiting him from possessing a firearm.
