Police Investigate Two Separate Reports of Assault/Rape



Penn State Campus Police are investigating two reported cases of sexual assault and rape.
 
Police say the first alleged attack occurred in the Pollock/South Residence Hall Area between 11 o’clock Thursday evening and 5 o’clock Friday morning and say the second incident was reported in a residence hall on the west side of campus between 2 and 3:30 Saturday morning.
 
In both cases, the victims reportedly knew the suspect.
Police are urging students not to walk alone and or call for a free security escort if needed.
 
Police are continuing to investigate the alleged assaults and anyone with information is asked to contact University Police at814-863-1111.
