O'Brien Finalist for Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award
Penn State Nittany Lion Head Coach Bill O'Brien is on of nine coaches named as finalists for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award.
The winner will be announced December 13.
O'Brien guided the Nittany Lions to an 8-4 record in his first season. He was named consensus Big Ten Coach of the Year last week.
A successful season was achieved in the wake of NCAA sanctions against Penn State which resulted in key players Silas Redd, Justin Brown and Anthony Fera transferring to other schools.
