Plea Agreement Reached In Bedford County fatal Argument Death

A plea deal has been reached in the case of the Bedford County man accused of causing injuries that led to the death of friend during an argument over softball.

On Monday, 51 year old Randy Foor of Bedford Township pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter for the death of 49 year old Dennis Sprigg of Manns Choice.

The incident happened on August 11 when the two men had been drinking and arguing throughout the day.  Police say that the last confrontation between the two ended with Foor pushing Sprigg, who lost his balance and cracked his head off a concrete sidewalk.

According to witnesses, Foor was crying and apologizing to his friend as emergency personnel arrived at the scene.

Seven weeks later Sprigg died at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.

Foor could be looking at anywhere from a few months to five years in prison.
