The League of American Bicyclists has named Penn State University to its Bronze List as a Bicycle Friendly University.
 
That means Penn State has shown a marked commitment to making the campus safe and convenient to bikers.
 
The evaluation process included an application and examining the biking infrastructure on campus, according to a university news release. Specifically, it looks at engineering, education, encouragement, enforcement and evaluation.
