Work Commences on New Recycling Center

Three local communities are joining forces to start their own recycling program.

Officials say work is underway on a new recycling center at the Martinsburg highway yard.

The facility is to open to residents in Martinsburg, North Woodbury Township and Huston Township in the next few weeks.

Plans are to charge residents an annual fee of $20 to use the fenced-in, 24-hour, multi- dumpster complex.

Anyone interested in signing up for the program can call the Martinsburg borough office.

I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation). Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
