Universities Reach Tentative Agreement with Coaches

Pennsylvania's 14 state-owned universities and the union representing their athletic coaches have reached tentative contract agreement.

The State System of Higher Education says the pact covers about 400 coaches represented by the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties.

The system didn't release details but says the coaches are likely to vote on the pact early next year.

That leaves a separate bargaining unit representing 6,000 faculty members as the only unit without a contract agreement.

The faculty members have authorized union leaders to call a strike but talks are continuing.

I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation). Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
