The Corbett administration is unveiling a new website that it says will make state government more transparent.
 
Corbett joined Administration Secretary Kelly Powell Logan and legislative sponsors at a news conference Thursday to show off the new PennWATCH site (http://bit.ly/UU6bS0 ).
 
The site is divided into four general areas - budget, revenues, spending and workforce - and contains links to various state agencies that contain details on many subjects including state budget appropriations, tax collections, annual salaries for most state employees, state contract information and campaign finance reports.
 
Corbett says the website fulfills his promise to increase access to information about state government.
