A Dysart man pleaded guilty Thursday to sexually abusing a girl over several years.
 
30 year old Kenneth Marrapode is facing a recommended sentence of seven to 14 years in state prison.
 
Judge Patrick Kiniry says sentencing in the case scheduled for March 12 may have to be postponed if the evaluation by a psychologist from the state Sexual Offender Assessment Board is not completed by that time.
 
Marrapode is accused of starting the abuse of the victim when she was 9 years old and continuing until she was 15.
 
In an unrelated case, Marrapode also pleaded guilty to simple assault for throwing human waste at a prison guard.
