Newly elected members of the Pennsylvania Legislature took their oath of office on Tuesday.
Among them was State Representative John McGinnis of the 79 Legislative District
McGinnis says his priorities during the upcoming legislative session include bringing new jobs to the Altoona area, reducing state spending, reforming state government and protecting human life.
He also promises to serve no more than three terms and will work to enact term limits for all state lawmakers.
