The family of the late football coach says they are encouraged by the Governor’s federal lawsuit against the NCAA over the sanctions imposed on Penn State.
 
In a statement released yesterday, the family says that Corbett “now realizes, as do many others, that there was an inexcusable rush to judgment.”
 
Meanwhile, in a news conference yesterday, the Governor called the sanctions harsh penalties, which harm past, present, and future students. 
 
The antitrust suit was filed yesterday in federal court in Harrisburg.
