U.S. Senator Pat Toomey is now serving on Senate Finance Committee. Yesterday the Republican Senator of Pennsylvania announced that he has been assigned to the committee for the incoming 113th Congress.
Toomey joins Senators Johnny Isakson of Georgia and Rob Portman of Ohio as new Republican members and will be one of only two freshmen senators on the committee.
Toomey will retain his seats on the Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs; Budget; and Joint Economic committees, but will no longer serve on the Senate Commerce Committee.
