Two Pittsburgh Men Face Charges Following A Heroin Bust In Blair County
Two Pittsburgh men are accused of selling heroin to undercover police in Blair County.
The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office reported yesterday that Leslie Jones and Dana Holden-Ellman, both 23 years old, were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly selling 25-hundred-dollars worth of heroin to undercover officers in Blair County. Police also seized 10 grams of heroin with a street value of 75-hundred-dollars. Investigators say Holden-Ellman was on parole at the time of the arrest and was wearing an electronic ankle bracelet.
Officials say that the investigation into Jones delivering heroin in the area began in September of last year and that two additional criminal complaints were filed against Jones for controlled deliveries of heroin. On two separate occasions last month, the 18th and the 21st, Jones delivered heroin to a confidential informant.
The investigation, aided by calls to the drug hotline and funded by Operation Our Town, continues.
