State police are investigating a case of jewelry theft in Snyder Township.
 
Somebody stole $5,000 worth of jewelry out of a jewelry box located in the bedroom of the 89 year old woman residing on the 100 of Davies Drive.
 
According to authorities, the theft occurred sometime prior to last Saturday.
