McGinnis Offers Assistance To Altoona City Council

Newly elected State Representative 79th District John McGinnis was in attendance at last night’s Altoona City Council meeting and extended an offer to help the city anyway he could.

McGinnis told council that one of the most alarming things he’s come to realize in just the last few weeks is that the constitution of Pennsylvania is very different than the federal constitution.

McGinnis says that a more limited role for state government would allow municipalities more freedom to govern themselves.

McGinnis also announced that the district office remains at 1331 12th Avenue Altoona and two long time office staffers have stayed on which should make the transitional period go a little smoother.

I would've just posted this on Facebook, but Facebook doesn't allow you to post GIFs (like this little animation). Maybe the $1.1 BILLION price tag isn't so crazy?
